Youtube

My favourite thing to come out of this situation is the accessibility to theatre, something I hope continues after this is all over. The National Theatre youtube channel are streaming plays every Thursday night. This week it’s the production of Jane Eyre that toured the UK a few years ago.

The Show Must Go On youtube channel are streaming Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals every Friday that will be available for 48 hours afterwards for you to watch over the weekend.

Tom Fletcher popped a video up of his little boys lockdown project of forming a band- you have to see it. If you’ve never heard of Tom Fletcher, stay on his channel and kill an hour watching his wedding speech video and his baby announcement videos- thank me after.

If you’re a student suddenly without GCSE’s or A-Levels to work towards, there’s a channel called ‘The StudyTube Project’ ran by multiple study tubers that upload various videos such as teaching you sign language.

PODCASTS

For those days where you’re feeling fed-up with TV stick a podcast on. They cheer me up massively, they also allow you to be occupied with listening to something whilst you’re doing bits round the house.

Shagged Married Annoyed (the BEST),
Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations,
Duolingo Spanish Podcast,
BookClub,
Table Manners and finally, Happy Mum Happy Baby.

I’m new to the podcast world so my recommendations are limited, please let me know your top ones so I can add them to my list !!

There’s likely lots of cracking telly that I’ve missed but, a girl can only list so much. Please pop your top picks in the comments below or, even better come have a chat with me over on instagram and help me add more titles to my watch/listen lists.
